Volunteer

Volunteers are truly the foundation of our community, and without their ongoing and invaluable support, we would face significant challenges. At WSNC, we are no exception; we are fortunate to have an incredible volunteer force that provides essential assistance in numerous ways. This includes helping transport community members to their appointments and ensuring they have access to local resources, as well as supporting various community programs such as the food bank, Cottage Club, and our Cooking with Confidence initiative, where volunteers help prepare nutritious meals.  

 The contributions of our volunteers vary based on their interests, abilities, and availability, and we deeply respect and appreciate the time they dedicate to our cause.

We are continually looking to expand our network of volunteers, so if you find yourself with some spare time and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in your local community, we would be delighted to have your support! 

 

 We are actively seeking enthusiastic individuals who are eager to lend a hand by engaging in a range of activities, which may include: 

- Supporting with administrative tasks and assisting with office operations  

- Aiding in the planning and execution of community events, workshops, and similar gatherings  

- Driving the community bus to transport individuals for community access, programs and important appointments
